I decided to buy this product because it gives me de option to use it wired or wireless at the same time. the length of the wired controler is good enough to take photos on thripods and an excellent reception for the wireless controller, i didn’t have problems with the connection between the camera and the rc, the camera recognizes te rc inmmediately; I don’t know yet how long the battery longs,but today I haven’t recharged again, I think this one is the best option because the original is expensive and opteka gives only one possible way of use.

This unit worked great on the intended camera, but rewired the tip to work with my sony. ( single pole double throw action )

I have purchased webcams (Linksys, Panasonic) over the years trying to find one that I can set up, works well and provides remote access over the Internet. The Sharx 2606 is the first one that really works for me. It has very fine image quality and is easy to set up. It took about twenty minutes to set up the camera for local network access and remote Internet access including iPhone access.
